Fresh off the release of their ninth studio album, the Mavericks have announced an extensive slate of tour dates, which will take the band across the globe throughout 2017.

Rolling Stone reports that the Mavericks will kick off their extensive new tour on Saturday (April 29) and make appearances at some of the United States' finest venues between then and the end of 2017. This summer, on June 23 and 24, they’ll perform at the Glastonbury Festival in the United Kingdom and the Interlaken Trucker & Country-Festival in Switzerland; they'll also be at the Strings Music Festival in Steamboat Springs, Colo., in late July, and a number of other festivals.

All in all, the Mavericks will make 40 tour stops in 2017. A complete list is below.

In March, the Mavericks independently released their newest album, Brand New Day, via Mono Mundo Recordings. The band established the record label in 2016.

Brand New Day expresses how we feel about the journey we’re on, as a band, as a family, as a nation, as a world,” Mavericks member Raul Malo says. “Now more than ever, we’re going to need to be more compassionate, more understanding, more loving than ever before.”
