The Mavericks fans will soon be getting their own holiday soundtrack: The Latin-meets-rockabilly-meets-country band is putting out a Christmas album, Hey! Merry Christmas!, and they're giving The Boot's readers a first listen to its title track. Press play above to hear the song and see its accompanying music video.

"Hey! Merry Christmas!" is, says the Mavericks' Raul Malo, "our very own rock 'n' roll Christmas song." Accompanied by a retro melody -- and, yes, those are sleighbells you hear -- the song finds the band telling their fans to "party 'til the cows come home," because, hey, it's Christmastime. The song's video features the Mavericks performing the track in a studio with decked halls, indeed: There are Christmas lights, wreaths and trees, some light-up reindeer and even the infamous leg lamp from A Christmas Story.

Hey! Merry Christmas! is due out on Nov. 2. The album features a couple of seasonal favorites -- "Christmas (Baby Please Come Home) and "Happy Holiday" -- as well as eight original tracks. They album's songs embody the holiday season's festive nature with the uptempo, infectious "Christmas Time Is (Coming 'Round Again)" and "Santa Does," but they also honor it as a time of reflection with the bluesy ballads "Santa Wants to Take You for a Ride" and "Christmas for Me Is You."

Malo produced Hey! Merry Christmas! alongside Niko Bolas. The record also features the multi-instrumentalist group the Fantastic Five (Max Abrams, Julio Diaz, Ed Friedland, Michael Guerra and Lorenzo Molina Ruiz). To learn more or pre-order the album, visit TheMavericksBand.com.
