Taylor SwiftTaylor Swift touched down in Japan for the first time at 6 AM on Sunday morning, and held an impromptu meet-and-greet session with 150 ecstatic fans who'd camped out overnight at Tokyo's Narita Airport. The singer posed for pictures and signed autographs for all, exclaiming "Nippon daisuki! Domo arigato! (Japan, I love you! Thank you very much!)" reports the Japan Todaynewspaper.

Taylor grinned widely when presented with a card reading, 'Welcome to Japan, Congratulations on your Grammys!' She quickly took to her Twitter account and tweeted: "Japan is amazing. Japan is amazing. Japan is amazing."

Taylor had originally been scheduled to visit Japan last July, but had to cancel travel plans due to the outbreak of the H1N1 virus in that country. The 20-year-old global megastar performs at Zepp Tokyo on Feb. 17 before heading back to the States to resume the Fearless tour. Taylor's big-screen debut, Valentine's Day opened in theaters nationwide this weekend.
