Taylor Swift and Hunter Hayes have made the Forbes 30 Under 30 list -- a collection of 30 of the brightest young stars, including entertainers and entrepreneurs

Swift's appearance comes as no surprise. In addition to the success of her album, 'Red,' which has sold almost four million units, the 24-year-old also made an impressive $55 million last year, thanks not only to record sales, but endorsements from Sony, Coke and Cover Girl. In addition, her global Red Tour was one of the highest-grossing tours of 2013.

Hayes is quickly becoming one of the most-watched stars in music, thanks in part to his coveted opening slot on Carrie Underwood's Blown Away Tour  He was also nominated for three Grammy awards last year, and is in the running for one again this year, for Best Country Solo Performance for his platinum-selling hit, 'I Want Crazy.'

Other people on the elite list include Rihanna, Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus, WillCall founder Donnie Dinch, Lady Gaga, ZinePak co-founder Kim Kaupe, and DJ Calvin Harris. See the complete list here.
