Taylor Swift has broken a record -- her own -- for weeks atop the Billboard Artist 100 chart. Swift sits at No. 1 on the chart for the 10th week.

The Artist 100 chart measures artist activity on Billboard's most relevant charts -- including the Hot 100 and Top Album Sales charts, as well as the Social 50 chart -- to create a ranking that factors in album sales, radio airplay, streaming and social media interaction.

The list launched in July, and Swift has been in the No. 1 spot for 10 of its 25 weeks in existence. Sam Smith, Maroon 5 and Ariana Grande are the only other acts to have spent more than one week at the top of the list.

Sales of Swift's pop album '1989,' which was released earlier this year, account for 42 percent of her ranking on the list. The album is currently spending its sixth week at the top of the Billboard 200.

Barbara Walters named Swift to her 10 Most Fascinating People list for 2014.

“I put every one of my actions through a filter before I do them because that’s the way my life is,” Swift tells Walters. “If I do something reckless or thoughtless or careless, or I treat someone badly, that doesn’t just affect me; it affects that person. Then, if that story gets out, or some 10-year-old sees that I did that in a news article … My actions do have ripples.”
