Love it or hate it, Sam Hunt's beard is forever memorialized in his "Break Up in a Small Town" music video. Hunt has shown versatility in his music video roles -- from a taxi cab driver in "Leave the Night On" to an unexpected hero in the hard-hitting "Take Your Time" -- and "Break Up in a Small Town" is no exception.

In the clip, the singer struggles over memories of his ex, whose face remains blurred out throughout the entire video, and sees her all over town with her new lover. Most of all, the clip shows that although he's no longer with the girl, he hasn't healed or recovered.

While the girl Hunt is pining over is shown in the music video, the choice to blur her face keeps most of the focus on Hunt and his emotive display of vulnerability. Hunt shows off his darker side as he glares into the mirror, raw emotion on his face, and feels the type of pain that comes after a breakup.

Hunt isn't just excelling in crafting good music videos -- he's shown that he's an artist to watch in country music by earning numerous awards nominations. Most recently, he garnered three nods at the 2015 American Music Awards -- the most of any country artist this year -- and also notched three nominations at the 2015 CMA Awards, including Song of the Year, New Artist of the Year and Single of the Year.

Hunt was also just announced as a performer at the CMAs, along with the likes of Blake Shelton, Luke Bryan and Jason Aldean, among others.
