Fans at Miranda Lambert's 2015 Roadside Bars and Pink Guitars Tour stop in Augusta, Ga., on Friday night (Oct. 2) got quite the surprise: a Pistol Annies reunion!

Lambert, Ashley Monroe and Angaleena Presley joined together onstage during the show, and although Monroe is a regular part of the Roadside Bars and Pink Guitars Tour, Presley's appearance -- and the trio's reunion itself -- was definitely a surprise. The clip above, one of many that appeared on social media after the show, shows the three artists dancing and laughing together in the middle of a song.

Lambert, Monroe and Presley released their debut album as the Pistol Annies, Hell on Heels, in 2011, and their sophomore disc, Annie Up, in 2013. In June of 2013, however, the trio abruptly canceled all of their upcoming concerts, and rumors of a breakup began swirling.

All three artists have released solo projects in the two-plus years since, and they have also denied the rumors of tension among them.

“It’s funny how people just make up things, even after you tell what happened," Monroe says. "It is what we said it was: We didn’t have time to rehearse for the tour, and we wanted to be our best. And it’s really as simple as that, but it’s entertaining to read all the different views. All the soap opera stories people can make up!”

Says Presley, "We’ve decided at some point we’ll be Pistol Grannies together, but we just had to make a choice and decide. When Ashley and I didn’t have that much going on, it was easy to coordinate our schedules. We just had to take a little break, but never say never.”

The Roadside Bars and Pink Guitars Tour is scheduled to run through mid-October. RaeLynn, Courtney Cole and Clare Dunn are also part of the trek, along with Lambert and Monroe. A complete list of upcoming dates is available on Lambert's website.
