Phil Vassar Celebrates His Highest Debut Ever

Phil Vassar is seeing his name at the highest it's ever been on the album charts. His fifth studio CD, 'Prayer of a Common Man,' debuted at No. 3 on the country charts and No. 10 on the Billboard 200 overall chart with 27,000 copies sold in its first week. The album's current single, 'Love is a Beautiful Thing' is sitting pretty at No. 5 on the singles charts.

George Strait claims the top spot on both the singles and album charts this week. His 37th studio CD, 'Troubadour,' is back at No. 1, and its first single, 'I Saw God Today,' is at its second week as the country's No. 1 song. Taylor Swift's debut album is at No. 2, as it hit triple-platinum sales status this week.
