Neal McCoy, Linda Davis and Michael Martin Murphey will celebrate their Lone Star roots this weekend, as they become the latest inductees into the Texas Country Music Hall Of Fame. Neal tells his hometown paper, the News-Journal, that his whole family will be on hand for the weekend's events, which this year are dedicated to the late actor John Ritter (son of country legend and East Texas native Tex Ritter, the Hall's first inductee.)

Though John was best known as the bumbling Jack Tripper on the 70's TV sitcom, 'Three's Company,' Neal confesses that he didn't exactly tune in to the show for the actor's antics. "I don't know that I watched so much for John," he admits. "By the seventies I was a teenager, so I watched the two girls on there!"

Neal will perform during the John Ritter Tribute Showcase and says although he never plans a show ahead of time, it's a good bet a country spin on a familiar TV theme song will be part of the mix. "Come and knock on our door ... We've been waiting for you," he sings. "Yeah, we'll probably play that!"
