Miranda Lambert has marked a new career milestone with her just-released album, 'Platinum.'

Lambert's fifth studio album, which was released last Tuesday (June 3), scored the biggest one-week sales of her career, moving 179,000 units to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart -- the first time she has topped the all-genre chart.

The singer also becomes the first country artist in the 50-year history of the Billboard Top Country Albums to see all of their first five albums debut at No. 1 on that chart.

“THANK YOU to the music lovers who believe in albums and spent your hard-earned money on 16 songs!" Lambert says in a statement. "16 songs that all say something important to me. I hope that they also speak to you, and I hope you enjoy listening to 'Platinum.' Thank you to the incredible musicians, songwriters, producers and artists that put this record together. I’m the luckiest girl in the world, blessed with the best fans!”

The album's lead single, 'Automatic,' also sits atop the Mediabase chart, and resides at No. 3 on Billboard's Country Airplay chart.

Lambert recently debuted another track from the album, 'Somethin' Bad,' a duet with Carrie Underwood. She is set to launch her Platinum Tour July 10 in Ft. Laramie, Ohio.
