Miranda Lambert's money is going to the dogs -- literally. The songstress raised almost $66,000 for her MuttNation Foundation, the charity she created to encourage spaying and neutering pets, offer medical treatment to animals in need and promote adoption and animal welfare, during a recent online auction.

The auction items included a customized Dodge Ram truck, which sold for $54,901. Other items included signed 'Platinum' albums and memorabilia, signed guitars and tickets to one of her shows in 2015, along with the chance to have a cocktail with the singer before she takes the stage.

“I’m happy to see everyone come together to raise so much money for MuttNation Foundation, which is so close to my heart,” Lambert says. “I appreciate Ram for donating the truck to me to auction off and for making this all possible. So many dogs will have happier holidays and lives thanks to this generosity.”

Mrs. Blake Shelton also raised more than $600,000 for the charity during her recent concert at the inaugural Route 91 Harvest Festival in Las Vegas.

“I always have a great time in Vegas, but being able to save dogs along the way was probably the best,” she says. “Getting to do what I love and help the cause that’s closest to my heart, and do it in Vegas; it doesn’t get any better. With the money raised, I am looking forward to seeing lots of dogs find loving forever homes through adoption.”

The reigning CMA Female Vocalist of the Year will join forces with fellow country songbird LeAnn Rimes and actress Hillary Swank for the Great American Dog-a-Thon this Thanksgiving, which will also feature Paula Abdul, Kristen Bell, Josh Duhamel, Fergie, Carrie Ann Inaba, Scarlett JohanssonKesha and Betty White. The 'Smokin' and Drinkin'' singer will kick off the 2015 leg of her Certified Platinum Tour in January, with Justin Moore as her special guest and RaeLynn, Sunny Sweeney, Ashley Monroe and Danielle Bradbery serving as opening acts at various shows.
