Miranda Lambert's money has gone to the dogs, literally. The songstress raised $628,148 during her recent concert at the inaugural Route 91 Harvest Festival in Las Vegas, with the proceeds benefiting her MuttNation Foundation animal rescue group.

“I always have a great time in Vegas, but being able to save dogs along the way was probably the best,” Lambert says. “Getting to do what I love and help the cause that’s closest to my heart, and do it in Vegas; it doesn’t get any better. With the money raised, I am looking forward to seeing lots of dogs find loving forever homes through adoption.”

The money was raised through Lambert's seventh annual Cause for the Paws event, which took place during the Route 91 Harvest Festival.

“Miranda and I were a bit apprehensive about moving the 7th Annual Cause for the Paws from our homes states of Texas and Oklahoma into Las Vegas," MNF co-founder (and Lambert's mother) Bev Lambert says. "As our long-time sponsors signed on in record time and the tickets for the first Harvest Festival began to sell out, we started to feel like this year may indeed be worthy of the name -- Lucky 7!

"We stand amazed at the support that her fans, friends and sponsors continue to show as they join hands with us to help shelter pets across the U.S." Lambert adds. "We both continue our pledge to be watchful over every penny donated.”

The Route 91 Harvest Festival included Miranda Lambert's husband Blake Shelton, Jason Aldean, Dierks Bentley and Brantley Gilbert, Tyler Farr, Dwight Yoakam, Randy Houser, Dustin Lynch, Neal McCoy, Charles Esten and Clare Bowen from ABC’s ‘Nashville,’ Dan + Shay, Josh Thompson, Sam Hunt and Ashley Monroe, among others.

Lambert will enjoy some time off the road before she kicks off the 2015 leg of her Platinum Tour. See all of her upcoming shows here.
