Maren Morris and Brandi Carlile have collaborated on a new song, which they unveiled during Morris' set at Carlile's Girls Just Wanna Weekend festival. Readers can press play above to hear the new track, called "Common."

According to Setlist.fm, Morris and Carlile performed "Common" late in Morris' Friday night (Feb. 1) show. "It left the entire #girlsjustwannaweekend crowd in chills -- absolutely stunning," writes Twitter user @peterzimmerman, who shared the above video of the performance.

"We got way too many problems ... And we've got way too much in common / Maybe we forgot it / Oh, with everybody talkin' / Ain't nobody listenin'," Carlile sings, as Morris provides harmonies. Morris then takes lead: "Oh, we've got way too much common / So what's the point in fighting?"

On her Instagram Story on Saturday (Feb. 2), Morris re-posted a fan's story about the performance. The fan writes that the song is "coming out next week," to which Morris responded, "Guess the cat's outta the bag." She did not, however, share further release details.

In the Instagram Story re-post shared by Morris, the fan also writes, "See y'all at the Grammys!" Carlile has been announced as a 2019 Grammy Awards performer, but Morris has not. Both women are, however, nominated multiple times at the upcoming all-genre awards show, which is set for Feb. 10.

Morris debuted a brand-new song, "Girl," in mid-January. The song is Morris' fifth career single and the first taste of her forthcoming sophomore album. That project is due out later in 2019 and follows her critically acclaimed 2016 studio debut, Hero.

Carlile's Girls Just Wanna Weekend festival, which ends Sunday (Feb. 3) featured an all-female lineup of performers. In addition to Morris and Carlile, the Indigo GirlsPatty Griffin and the Secret Sisters, among others, were in the lineup. Carlile curated the event as a counter to all of the male-dominated festivals out there, and to fight the perception that, she says, "women can not only headline a festival, they can BE a festival."
