Luke Bryan is already an award winner, having previously taken home both an ACM and a CMT award, but the current CMA nominee says he still has a lot to learn about accepting a trophy.

"You're always excited," Luke tells Country Aircheck (quote via WSAQ). "To be an important part of these award shows and then winning, I'm just not cool enough to act cool. I can't hold that in. I'm not going to walk up there and be all debonair. I'm going to be acting like an idiot. I think people want to feel like they're winning it, too. I may get up there and pull out some Michael Jackson backspins on the stage at the CMA's if I win."

Looks like Luke might need to practice keeping it together. According to Boot readers, the chart-topping artist is a shoo-in to take home the trophy for New Artist of the Year, beating fellow nominees Easton Corbin, Zac Brown Band, Jerrod Niemann and Chris Young by a landslide in our poll. It makes sense that Luke is a fan favorite, since he works hard to stay up-close and personal with his audiences. "If there are people out by the bus, I'll come off the bus and sign autographs. I always want to be accessible," Luke tells The Boot. "If a fan wants to meet me, that opportunity is always there. That's the way you have to be, whether you're making ten thousand [dollars] or a million a show. I try to be that way; I can't say I'm the best, but I'm in the top percentage."

The CMA Awards will air live on ABC, beginning at 8:00 PM ET on Wednesday, November 10, from Nashville's Bridgestone Arena.
