Actress Lucy Hale has been working on her debut country album for over a year, and now she is close to sharing it with her fans. The 'Pretty Little Liars' star says she is putting the finishing touches on her upcoming project, which will be released early next year.

“Music is my heart, and I'm so blessed to say that this album turned out to be something I'm very proud of,” she says.  “I'm unbelievably excited to hit the road this fall to meet country radio and share what I've been working on, and feel extremely lucky to work alongside DMG Nashville, Hollywood Records, Bigger Picture Group and the awesome [producer] Mark Bright.”

The singer has had the help of one famous country star in writing songs for her debut project -- Sugarland's Kristian Bush. "We’ve written a few songs together, and he’s really taken on the role of mentor and great friend,” Hale tells The Boot. “He’s given me some awesome advice, and I feel so lucky to have someone like him on my team. It’s been a lovely experience.”

The Tennessee native, who signed to Hollywood Records last year, will release her full-length album on DMG Nashville/Bigger Picture Group in 2014. “DMG Nashville is excited to work alongside the team at Bigger Picture Group in bringing Lucy’s musical talent to Nashville and beyond," Ken Bunt, President of the Disney Music Group, states.

Hale will spend this fall meeting with radio programmers all over the country, in advance of her first single hitting radio in 2014.
