Little Big Town have shared audio of a new track from their upcoming album The Breaker, set for release on Feb. 24. The song is called “When Somebody Stops Loving You.”

“When Somebody Stops Loving You” — The Breaker‘s penultimate track — was penned by Hillary Lindsey, Lori McKenna and Chase McGill. Lindsey and McKenna are writers on the Little Big Town’s hit “Girl Crush,” but instead of focusing on the heartbreak of an unrequited love, “When Somebody Stops Loving You” takes aim at what it feels like when love is lost but life keeps moving forward.

When someone stops loving you / It don’t make the evening news,” LBT croon in a sad and beautiful harmony. “It don’t keep the sun from rising, the clock from winding, a heart from beating / Even when you want it to / When someone stops loving you.

“When Someone Stops Loving You” is the third track that Little Big Town have shared off of their new album. In addition to their single “Better Man,” the group has released “Happy People,” also written by McKenna, with Hailey Whitters. That tune is a lighter song than “When Someone Stops Loving You,” with hints of pop and folk, and the message that everyone deserves happiness

The Breaker is scheduled to drop on Feb. 24; the project is available for pre-order via iTunes and Amazon. Little Big Town will begin their 2017 residency at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium on the same day.
