Lee Brice's latest single, the Top 15 hit "Hard to Love," is proving its title wrong, having just been officially certified gold by the RIAA for digital sales of over 500,000 downloads.

"I don't really know what to say except thank you to my fans for all the support," says the CMA New Artist of the year nominee. "I can tell when I'm out there on the road every night that the momentum of this song just keeps picking up and it's because my fans continue to believe in me ... they've stuck by me and I can tell they're in for the long haul."

"Hard To Love," the second single from Lee's album of the same name, is the follow-up to the sophomore disc's platinum-certified "A Woman Like You."

Another of Lee's songs, one called "Orange Empire" written with Brian David and Billy Montana, will be heard throughout the fall football season as the fight song for the Tigers at Lee's alma mater, Clemson University.

The South Carolina native will host a pre-game concert on Nov. 23 at Clemson's Littlejohn Coliseum. The show will take place the night before the Tigers face off against their rivals, the USC Gamecocks. Tickets go on sale Oct. 5 at Ticketmaster.
