Lady Antebellum Perform ‘Freestyle’ at 2015 People’s Choice Awards [WATCH]

The new year is kicking off on a high note for Lady Antebellum, who took the stage at the 2015 People's Choice Awards to perform their latest single 'Freestyle.'

“Hey, there ain’t nothing wrong / Just making it up as we go along / Find a little rock ‘n’ roll hallelujah, throw your hands up high if the spirit moves you," Charles Kelley and Hillary Scott harmonized during their performance. "We can do it old school, ABC style / Maybe we could go a little wild and freestyle."

The country trio were the first act to perform during the ceremony, and the uptempo, fun track was a great choice to kick things off.

“We had songs like [this] before ... but we’d kind of gotten away from it," Kelley says, "and thought it was time to reel it back and inject more fun.”

Lady A, who also took home the award for Favorite Country Group at the PCAs, will spend the spring and summer on the road for their just-announced Wheels Up 2015 Tour.
