Kenny Chesney Is Four-Time CMA Entertainer of the Year
Kenny Chesney is taking home the Country Music Association Awards' top honor, Entertainer of the Year, for a fourth time. Chesney was choking back tears as Shania Twain presented the award to him. But the tears subsided to laughter before his acceptance speech began.
"You look really good," Chesney said to Twain, as the audience erupted in laughter. "As much as tonight is about awards, I really believe that being able to stand up here is more about great songs, more about the fans, more about the people that make it happen for me ... I'm really humbled."

Chesney now ties Garth Brooks with the most number of CMA Entertainer wins.
"Winning Entertainer four times out of five years was nothing this kid ever dreamed of," Chesney told reporters backstage after his big win. "I remember back in college ... I was just happy to get a tour bus and tour with my buddies!"
Entertainer of the Year is largely based on live shows. Chesney told reporters he's already thinking about his next tour, which he says will have a "3-D stage." Chesney also praised Sugarland for their live show, saying how much the duo has impressed him through the years.
"I hope they win this award someday," he said of Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush. "They deserve it."
