Boston -- Foxborough, Mass., more specifically -- is the 13th city to be added to Kenny Chesney's 2016 Spread the Love Tour.

After setting a record with his 2015 The Big Revival Tour stop in Foxborough, the "Save It for a Rainy Day" singer will return to Gillette Stadium on Aug. 26, 2016. It will be his 14th show at the stadium, home of the New England Patriots.

“We have had so many special nights at Gillette,” Chesney says in a press release. “Every single one has been its own set of memories ... and when we go back this year, I want to know we are going to have the night that tops all the ones that have come before. The people in and around Boston are amazing, and I want to live up to all the energy they give us.

“Even before we started playing stadiums in 2005, Boston was special,” he continues. “They really listen to the songs ... They really rock hard when you put it out there ... Those are some kind of fans, and when we get there, I know it’s going to be the kind of night worth waiting all summer for."

The 2016 Spread the Love Tour will also feature Miranda Lambert, Sam Hunt and Old Dominion. The trek is set to kick off on April 23 at the Jordan-Hare Stadium in Auburn, Ala., as part of the inaugural Music & Miracles Superfest. On Wednesday (Nov. 4), Chesney added a 12th date, in Louisville, Ky., to the tour.

“You don’t wanna overdo the stadium thing to where it’s not special," Chesney says. "But being outside in Louisville is one of those places where the music hits the night, and it’s not the same as being inside."

A complete list of the country superstar's currently announced dates is below, with more to be announced in the coming months. Chesney is also set to headline one night of the 2016 Taste of Country Music Festival, which will take place in June in Hunter, N.Y.
