Jaron has had a lot of firsts in the past year: his first time releasing music as a solo artist, first song on country radio and first No. 1 digital hit. Now add a first headlining tour to the list. After spending his summer opening shows for Toby Keith, Jaron and the Long Road to Love will embark on a solo tour October 14 in St. Louis, Mo., making 14 stops before wrapping up the first leg on November 20 in Diamond, Mo. A full U.S. tour will resume early next year.

"The original plan was to wait until next year to headline, but I've been having so much fun with my FRANS who come out to the Toby tour and radio shows that I wanted to get out there and play more now," says Jaron. "I'm a fan of performances, so when you come to see me live you can expect a real show and not just me standing around on stage and playing songs from my album."

"FRANS," of course, is the term Jaron lovingly coined for those he considers both fans and friends. This tour is Jaron's way of saying thanks to the FRANS he credits with his career resurgence. "I've always heard about country music fans and how great they are, how they support artists like crazy," Jaron tells The Boot. "The difference between me and other country artists is that they [the fans] actually made me. I didn't go to a record company or radio stations to get to the fans. I just went there directly. My Facebook and MySpace fans are getting credit for this, for bringing me to the masses. We started this together and are doing this together."

While Jaron's debut country single, 'Pray for You,' is closing in on a million downloads, his second radio hit, 'That's Beautiful to Me' is quickly climbing the charts. Watch The Boot's exclusive sneak preview of the 'Beautiful' video, co-starring Kristin Cavallari, below his solo tour dates.
