Hunter Hayes is going to start 2015 by helping others. The singer-songwriter will kick off the annual Alive at the Bluebird concert series on Jan. 2 in Nashville, Tenn., with proceeds benefiting Alive Hospice.

The series, now in its 22nd year, has brought out some of music's biggest tunesmiths, including Amy Grant, Vince Gill, Kristian Bush, John Oates, Rivers Rutherford and Gary Burr.

“You can’t beat having the genuine Bluebird Cafe experience and sitting just feet away from songwriters who have given us so many favorite songs. These fantastic artists and the Bluebird give even more by helping Alive Hospice each year,” Alive Hospice President and CEO Anna-Gene O’Neal says. “When fans come out to the Bluebird in January, they’ll not only get an unforgettable evening of music. They’ll be helping people right here in their own community, too.”

So far, the annual Alive at the Bluebird concert series has raised more than $600,000 for Alive Hospice, which supports end-of-life care and help for family members.

Hayes will perform along with writers Lori McKenna and Barry Dean on Jan. 2 at 9 PM. Tickets are available here.

More artists will be announced at a later date. Find more information about the special series here.
