More than 100 artists and singer-songwriters will perform at Nashville's Bluebird Cafe in January, and it's all for a worthwhile cause.

Vince Gill, Amy Grant, Kristian Bush, Kim Carnes, Lori McKenna, Rivers Rutherford, Tom Douglas and John Oates are just a few of the writers who will sing at the famous venue as part of the Alive at the Bluebird series, which benefits Nashville's Alive Hospice.

“You can’t beat having the genuine Bluebird Cafe experience and sitting just feet away from songwriters who have given us so many favorite songs. These fantastic artists and The Bluebird give even more by helping Alive Hospice each year,” Alive Hospice President and CEO Anna-Gene O’Neal says. “When fans come out to the Bluebird in January, they’ll not only get an unforgettable evening of music. They’ll be helping people right here in their own community, too.”

“January is always a ‘warm’ month at the Bluebird, despite the temperatures outside!” Erika Wollam Nichols, GM of the Bluebird, adds. “The songwriters we work with are all excited about being a part of this event to celebrate and support an organization that has given so much to members of our music community, and to the community at large.”

The concert series has raised more than $500,000 for Alive Hospice in the past 21 years, including money from sponsors and fans.
