Gwyneth Paltrow and Faith Hill became fast friends while the Oscar-winning actress was shooting 'Country Strong' in Nashville alongside Faith's hubby, Tim McGraw. And if it was up to Gwyneth and her son, they could also be future in-laws!

In the January issue of InStyle magazine, Faith places herself on the other side of the microphone to interview the Oscar-winning actress for the new issue, and Gwyneth tells her new friend, "We might really become family when he marries Audrey! My son is in love with your daughter!"

Gwyneth is referring to four-year-old son, Moses, with husband and Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, and Audrey, Faith's nine-year-old daughter with Tim McGraw.

"Don't you just love our babies?" Faith asks.

"I love mine, and I love yours!" Gwyneth replies.

During last month's Nashville premiere for the film, Faith gushed about the budding friendship between the two women. "She's amazing," the singer told The Boot. "I have fallen in love with this person, and she fell in love with Nashville. She taught me things about our city that I didn't know after being here for 20-something years. She found all these obscure places, and she really lived the moment while she was here. She's a great girl. She has so much respect for country music ... she does a great job."

Of her role as fallen country singer, Kelly Canter, Gwyneth tells InStyle she's "never prepared for anything more in my life," adding, "there was studying with an accent coach, learning to play guitar, and of course the singing. My voice didn't have any power or strength at all, and I wanted to try and sing properly.

"Normally I can't stand to see myself," she continues, "but with this film I felt like it all came together, all that hard work and putting myself in such an uncomfortable position where I felt so scared of how I was going to do it. I'm happy with how it turned out. I am."

'Country Strong' arrives in theaters in Nashville and Los Angeles on December 22, with its nationwide debut on January 7.
