George Strait gave his RodeoHouston audience a special treat on Sunday night (March 17): The country icon was joined onstage by his grandson, Harvey Strait, for a performance of one of his brand-new songs.

Readers can press play above to watch Strait and his grandson's performance, at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas. "This is my grandson, and he's going to sing with me," Strait told his record-breaking crowd before launching into "God and Country Music." The audience for the rodeo's final night gave Harvey a warm reception, and cheered wildly after the 6-year-old joined his grandfather for the song's last chorus.

"God and Country Music" was written by Luke Laird, Barry Dean and Lori McKenna, and appears on Strait's new album, Honky Tonk Time Machine, due out on March 29. Harvey sings with his grandfather on the recorded version of the song as well.

Strait performed for RodeoHouston's closing night to an audience of 80,108 fans, breaking the record he set at the venue, of 80,020 people, in 2013. The King of Country Music was joined by Lyle Lovett and Robert Earl Keen for the big show.

Strait recently announced another stadium concert for 2019: He will play Gillette Stadium in Massachusetts, outside of Boston, on Aug. 17. He also recently added dates to his his Strait to Vegas residency at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nev.
