Garth Brooks has added another show to his run at Chicago's Allstate Arena.

This newly announced Chicago concert will take place on Sept. 5 at 10:30 PM ET. Brooks' Windy City run has already shattered his own record for ticket sales in Chicago, as well as his record for ticket sales in a single North American city, which he set in 1998 by selling 162,822 tickets for shows at Minneapolis' Target Center.

"After seeing how happy everyone was in Atlanta about ticket access, I feel whatever the problem was has now been fixed," Brooks says. "I would like to put on one more show in Chicago so people that wanted tickets and could not get in the system now have a chance to see the show and get their tickets at face value and NOT have to go through the scalper / broker systems if they don't want to."

Tickets for the new show go on sale Aug. 23 at 10 AM CT. Like the other Chicago shows, tickets will cost $56.94 plus $2.56 tax and a $6.00 service charge, totaling $65.50, keeping with Brooks' goal of offering tickets to his comeback tour at reasonable prices.

Brooks' comeback tour begins in Chicago on Sept. 4 and, Brooks has said, could last as long as three years. Each show will feature new music from the album he is working on, and his wife, Trisha Yearwood, will appear at each date.
