Garth Brooks hit Robin Roberts with a surprise on 'Good Morning America' on Monday (Dec. 9), when he announced that he would begin touring again in 2014. He added to the surprises when he appeared on CBS' 'The Talk' later that day and spilled that the tour will span three years.

"The whole goal in life is to make whatever you've done before look small," Brooks says. "So, the 2014 world tour will be the first of probably a three-year world tour. I'm excited. I'm very excited."

Details are still to come on the epic tour, but Brooks told Roberts that he would be talking with radio over the next week.

"We want to tell them and celebrate with them, because it sure feels good to get to throw your hat back in the ring."

Brooks said that now is the time to do this tour, since his three girls have grown up and he has the support of his wife, Trisha Yearwood.
