Even though he's currently on his World Tour and had a concert scheduled for the same night (Nov. 23), Garth Brooks was able to take the stage during the 2014 American Music Awards.

As previously announced, Brooks' performance of his current single, 'People Loving People' was beamed in from his tour stop in Greensboro, N.C. (See a full list of World Tour dates here.)

The country legend had his audience singing and clapping along as he bounded around the stage singing feel-good lyrics like "People loving people / That's the enemy of everything that's evil."

Luke Bryan, who received the award for Favorite Male Artist -- Country earlier in the show introduced Brooks' performance.
