Talk about global superstars: Eric Church, Chris Young and Brad Paisley each picked up a British Country Music Award, at a ceremony held on Sunday, Nov. 23, in London, England.

Church's 'The Outsiders' won International Album of the Year, while Young took home the award for International Act of the Year and Paisley's 'Mona Lisa' earned the International Song of the Year trophy.

This year, 'The Outsiders' was also nominated for a CMA Award for Album of the Year and is in the running for an inaugural American Country Countdown Award.

While Church didn't take home the CMA honor this year -- the trophy went to Miranda Lambert, for 'Platinum' -- he admits the recognition meant a lot to him.

“It meant more to me than I thought it would,” he says of the awards. “To people in rock, we were country. To people in country, we were rock ... I was proud of that and proud to be a part of the format at a really cool time.”
