Easton Corbin had a packed tour itinerary scheduled for October but the 29-year-old has had an unfortunate change of plans.

"I wanted to let all of my fans know that I am truly sorry that I have had to cancel shows this month," Easton shares on his website. "I haven't been feeling well, and after a few doctor visits, they informed me that I needed to rest. I am taking the time to get better and be 100% so that I can go back on the road and do what makes me happy, playing for all of you. Thank you for all of your love and support. Can't wait to feel better and see all of you out on the road."

The Florida native has had a whirlwind start to his career since his debut single, 'A Little More Country Than That,' hit No. 1 in 2009, followed by his second chart-topping tune, 'Roll With It' only six months later. But the singer, who is currently putting the finishing touches on the follow-up album to his self-titled debut, isn't worried about repeating his earlier success.

"I don't worry about [the sophomore slump]," Easton tells The Boot. "Hopefully, this record will be just as good as the first, and I feel like it will be. I think if I look at this record like I did the last one that it should be just as good."

Easton, who previously hit the road with Rascal Flatts and Brad Paisley, is next scheduled to appear in Jacksonville, Fla. on October 27, followed by shows in Mississippi, Pensacola, Fla. and South Carolina. No word yet if he will be able to keep those dates. Check for updates here.
