Dierks Bentley, Montgomery Gentry + More ‘Lifting’ Troop Spirits in Vegas

Dierks Bentley, Montgomery Gentry and several other acts are planning on doing more than partying while in Las Vegas this weekend for the ACM Awards. The generous artists are donating their time to entertain troops and their families with a private concert at a USO base near the bright lights of Sin City.

Held as part of the ACM Lifting Lives program, which works to improve lives through music, the event marks the first time ACM is partnering with the USO. Other artists performing at the April 17 concert include Randy Houser, Josh Thompson, James Otto and Anthony Smith.

These guys aren't the only ones with big hearts. Retiring duo Brooks & Dunn have announced that proceeds from their farewell tribute concert, 'ACM Presents: Brooks & Dunn - The Last Rodeo,' will benefit the ACM Lifting Lives Program. Scheduled to tape the day after the ACM Awards at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, the star-studded concert will include performances by Carrie Underwood, Kenny Chesney, Reba McEntire, Keith Urban, Rascal Flatts, Sugarland, Taylor Swift, Jason Aldean and many more.
