Dierks Bentley is ready for 2014. His long-awaited album, 'Riser,' is set to hit stores, and Bentley has been planning a new tour.

The 'I Hold On' singer has been spending time perfecting the album for fans, hoping to achieve an ideal balance of songs. But Bentley also has some fun in store for fans with his upcoming tour plans.

“Next year, we’re going out on a big tour and I want to make sure I have the right songs in place to support the fun,” Bentley tells Country Weekly. “We have the heavier songs like ‘I Hold On’ and ‘Riser,’ which I want to get to as a single, but I want to make sure I have the stuff my fans have come to know us for — putting on a little bit of a party and having a good time. I wanted to make sure I had that part of the record covered with a few extra songs."

Fans are going to have to wait a little longer to see and hear something new from Bentley. A complete list of tour dates has not been released, and there's also no set release date for 'Riser,' but that just gives him more time to perfect every song and deliver a great album to his fans.

Bentley will headline one night of the Tropical Nights: Boots in the Sand getaway at the Riviera Maya in Mexico, from Feb. 23-27.
