Darius Rucker Reveals New Album Details, 2015 Southern Style Tour Plans
Darius Rucker has a lot of things in the works for 2015. He's officially revealed the title and release date of his new album, as well as his summer tour plans.
The singer's fourth country solo album, 'Southern Style,' will be released on March 31, 2015. The disc's first single, 'Homegrown Honey,' was released in September.
“We wanted to have a little more fun with this record … I think it’s going to end up a little more fun,” Rucker says. "But just like I always do, you always write some songs about relationships and family because they always come up, and it’s always some good song that you can’t not record."
Rucker will then launch his Southern Style Tour in Holmdel, N.J., on May 14. Brett Eldredge, Brothers Osborne and A Thousand Horses will join him as guests throughout the trek. A list of currently confirmed cities is below.
Some of Rucker's shows are part of Live Nation's Country Megaticket, which goes on sale Jan. 26. Additional details and ticket information will be available at DariusRucker.com when announced.
