Darius Rucker has released the video for his latest single 'Homegrown Honey.'

The video was filmed in Rucker's home state of South Carolina and features Rucker and his band playing at HTC Center at Coastal Carolina University. The video also includes the girl described in the song, “sitting in a bar in New York City / Everyone here looking New York pretty." She dances around the bar and eventually ends up onstage at Rucker's concert.

Rucker penned the song with Nathan Chapman and Lady Antebellum's Charles Kelley. The song is emblematic of what fans can expect on Rucker's upcoming new album.

"We wanted to have a little more fun with this record ... I think it's going to end up a little more fun," he says. "That's one of the things that really attracted me to this song and made me so proud of it -- I had never done anything like this before in country music, I'd never done a big party song before. It brought out a cool side of fun for me."

A release date for the album has not been announced, but the singer is planning to release a Christmas album on Oct. 27, featuring a duet with Sheryl Crow on 'Baby It's Cold Outside.' That record is available for pre-order on Amazon.
