Craig Morgan has announced that his Eighth Annual Charity Event, which benefits the Dickson County Craig Morgan Foundation, will be held on Sunday, July 20.

The day will once again include a celebrity off-road trail ride and evening concert. Proceeds from the event will help foster children in Dickson county and throughout middle Tennessee.

“I think it’s so important that we as entertainers realize regardless of our genre or form of entertainment -- we are part of a community, regardless of where we go in our lives,” the 'Wake Up Lovin' You' singer explains. “I think it’s so important that we give back to the community. This is a way for us to do it.”

The family-friendly event will begin at 8AM with an autograph session with celebrity riders, followed by a riding exhibition from several of the top celebrity and competitive motocross riders, a group trail ride, and lunch. Later that evening, Morgan will take the stage, along with several of his friends, for a star-studded outdoor concert on the lawn of the War Memorial in Dickson, Tenn. A live and silent auction will also take place throughout the night.

Tickets for the event will go on sale on May 9 on Morgan's website.

This isn't the only charitable endeavor the 49-year-old is participating in this year. He will make his 11th trip to entertain the troops overseas this spring, performing in Southwest Asia with Armed Forces Entertainment and Stars and Stripes.

“As a former soldier myself, it is so important to me to have another opportunity to support our troops and do whatever I can to help keep morale high,” he notes. “I always jump at the chance to get over there and do my part.”

Morgan will spent most of the next few months on the road, including shows in Missouri, North Dakota and Minnesota this week. See a list of all of his upcoming concerts here.
