Craig Morgan's Seventh Annual Charity Event will be held on Saturday, Sept. 14 in his hometown of Dickson, Tenn. All proceeds will benefit Billy's Place, a component fund of the Craig Morgan Dickson County Educational Foundation (501c3). The foundation assists foster children in Dickson and throughout Middle Tennessee with housing and other needs.

"I think it's so important that we as entertainers realize regardless of our genre or form of entertainment -- we are part of a community, regardless of where we go in our lives," Morgan tells Billboard magazine. "I think it's so important that we give back to the community. This is a way for us to do it."

The all-day event will begin at 8AM with a motocross exhibit from several top competitors and motocross celebrities, followed by a group trail ride and lunch. That night, several country artists will perform at the Renaissance Center in Dickson, before Morgan takes the stage for a full-band show.

The singer is busy working on a new album, which he says will be more reflective of who he truly is as an artist. He believes his current single, 'Wake Up Lovin' You,' from the upcoming project will be a true game-changer for him in the music industry. "I think it’s the biggest song of my career," he tells Taste of Country. "Everybody is looking for the songs, the music that will help elevate your career, your profile. I don’t think I’ve ever had a song that got a reaction and the attention that this song is getting instantly."
