Chris Young Out of Intensive Care

There's good news for Chris Young. The 'Aw Naw' singer is out of intensive care after being hospitalized for a leg infection earlier this week.

Young was in Colorado en route to a show in Montana when he was suddenly hit by symptoms. He was taken to a Denver area hospital Wednesday (Aug. 14), where he was expected to remain for at least 24 hours.

The singer was forced to cancel several upcoming concerts due to the ailment, the cause of which has not been revealed. But in a series of tweets, he doesn't seem terribly concerned.

Still in the ICU, but wanted to says thanks for all the well wishes. Sorry I had to cancel some shows guys.

Country Weekly reported Thursday that Young had been moved from ICU to a regular room. He is expected to resume touring on Aug. 21 in Redding, Calif.
