Chris Young has canceled a series of upcoming shows after landing in the hospital while on tour in Colorado.

According to a statement from his publicist, the 'Aw Naw' singer is in a Denver area hospital in stable condition, suffering from a leg infection. He was en route to Kalispell, Mon. when he began experiencing symptoms. He was taken by ambulance to the hospital, where he is expected to remain for the next 24 hours. The source of the infection is currently unknown.

Tonight’s headlining show in Kalispell has been canceled, as well as scheduled performances on Brad Paisley’s Beat This Summer Tour  on Aug. 15 in Penticton, B.C., Aug. 16 in Mission, B.C. and Aug. 17 in Brownsville, Ore. Young is expected to resume touring in Redding, Calif. on Aug. 21.

“I’m so sorry to disappoint the fans but I didn’t even know I was sick,” Young says in a press release. “One minute I was fine, then suddenly I’m being rushed to the hospital. I look forward to being up and around and back on the road.”
