Surprise! Carrie Underwood will play a free concert in Atlanta, Ga., on Friday night (Sept. 18).

The show, which will be filmed for CMT's Instant Jam series, will take place at the city's Variety Playhouse. Doors open at 7PM, and the concert will begin at 8PM, but fans looking to attend can begin lining up to receive a wristband, which will get them into the show, at 10AM at Central Park in Atlantic Station.

Underwood teased her big news on social media on Thursday (Sept. 17) by posting a picture of a peach (Georgia is nicknamed the Peach State).

The country superstar's Instant Jam show will help promote her upcoming album, Storyteller, which is set for release on Oct. 23. The record's first single, “Smoke Break,” was revealed in late August and earned the highest one-week add total in the history of trade publication Country Aircheck when it came out.

“The song itself is one of those story songs I feel like everybody can relate to, about how life is so hectic,” Underwood explains. “And it’s so nice when — if and when — you actually get to step away for a second. We all need that, and we all need that time to ourselves and to get to take a break.”

On Monday (Sept. 21), Underwood will headline the 2015 Apple Music Festival in London, England. A full-blown tour in support of Storyteller is expected, but details are still forthcoming.

Underwood's Instant Jam installment will premiere on Oct. 17 at 10PM ET on CMT.
