Brad Paisley's upcoming new album, 'Moonshine in the Trunk,' is still a few weeks away from its release date, but that isn't stopping the singer from sharing snippets of the new music with his fans -- even if his record label didn't approve.

The 'River Bank' singer released a series of tweets maintaining that his label, Arista Nashville, truly was unaware, and unimpressed, with his generosity.

Even though some of the links were ultimately taken down, Paisley did call on two of his famous friends, Ludacris and radio host Bobby Bones, to help spread the word.

While it's not certain if the label really was unaware, or if this is one of Paisley's most ingenious publicity stunts yet, he maintains he is going against the label executives.

'Moonshine in the Trunk' will be released on Aug. 26. Paisley will celebrate the release with a pool party at the Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas on Wednesday, Aug. 27.
