Brad Paisley seems to be the latest country star who is joining a reality TV talent show.

Deadline.com reports that Paisley will judge ABC's summer show, 'Rising Star,' which is a live talent show that features real-time voting by viewers via an app. The show, which began in Israel, uses a translucent floor-to-ceiling LED screen that allows singers to see how many votes they are receiving while still performing on stage. Contestants will have to reach a certain number of votes before the screen is lifted, and they can see the audience, as well as the judges.

Former 'American Idol' Executive Producer Ken Warwick and Nicolle Yaron of 'The Voice' are serving as executive producers of the show. Keith Urban currently serves as a judge on 'Idol,' while Blake Shelton is in his fifth season as a coach on 'The Voice.'

Paisley was rumored to be considered as a judge on 'American Idol' in 2012, before the role ultimately went to Urban.

Two other judges for 'Rising Star' are expected to be announced shortly. Auditions are currently happening all over the country. The show is looking for soloists, duos and groups of up to five members.

'Rising Star' will debut on ABC on June 22 at 9PM ET. For more information, including audition details, click here.

Paisley is juggling putting the finishing touches on a new album with spending much of the summer on the road, including stops in New Jersey and Pennsylvania later this month. See a list of his upcoming shows here.
