Alabama Announce ‘Alabama and Friends at the Ryman’ CD, DVD

Alabama and Friends at the Ryman
Eagle Rock Entertainment

Award-winning band Alabama is only a few weeks away from releasing ‘Alabama & Friends at the Ryman’ in multiple formats. The project, which features several of their superstar friends, will be available in DVD, DVD/2CD, 2CD, digital and limited-edition 2LP formats.

The record, filmed in its entirety at the famed Ryman Auditorium, includes on-stage collaborations with Luke Bryan, Jason Aldean, Trisha Yearwood, Florida Georgia Line, Jamey Johnson and the Eli Young Band and features performances of some of the band’s biggest hits, including ‘Dixieland Delight,’ ‘Love in the First Degree’ and ‘High Cotton.’

The DVD version offers bonus footage, including interviews with the band and the show’s guests.

“Performing at the Ryman is like a culmination of the dreams and ambitions of my late father, who taught me to play the guitar and who encouraged the deep down love for harmony and music,”  lead vocalist Randy Owen says of the evening. “The only thing that would make it sweeter would be bringing him up on stage, at the Ryman, to play and sing a song with him.”

Alabama’s tribute album was released last year on Show Dog-Universal Music. The new digital formats will be released on Eagle Rock Entertainment on Sept. 30. See a complete track list below, and pre-order the DVD and digital formats here.
