Lee Brice Wins Song of the Year in the 2014 Golden Boot Awards

Lee Brice has taken home Song of the Year honors in the first annual Golden Boot Awards.

His emotionally-charged hit song 'I Drive Your Truck' took home more than 40% of the total vote, earning him the win over a field of contenders that included Eric Church, Dierks Bentley, Miranda Lambert, Kacey Musgraves, Florida Georgia Line and Blake Shelton.

The touching track is fraught with emotion for anyone who has lost someone close to them. It reached No. 1, and also took home Song of the Year honors in both the CMA and ACM Awards.
