2012 European MTV Awards Nominations Include Five for Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift is a five-time nominee at the 2012 European MTV Awards. The songstress comes in just behind Rihanna, who leads the pack with six nods. The ladies face-off in three categories: Best Pop, Best Female and Best Look. Winners will be announced during the Nov. 11 telecast from Frankfurt, Germany.

Justin Bieber, Katy Perry and No Doubt round out the Best Pop category, while Katy, Nicki Minaj and P!nk are also up for Best Female. A$AP Rocky, Jack White and Nicki also have Best Look nods.

Taylor is up against Green Day, Jay-Z and Kanye West, Lady Gaga and Muse in the Best Live category. There are 18 possible winners for Best World Stage, which in addition to the "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" singer include Joe Jonas, Justin Bieber and Maroon 5.
