The 2011 Teen Choice Awards nominees list has been announced, and not surprisingly, country music artists are a favorite among the younger generation.

Taylor Swift leads the pack of country superstars with six nods. The 21-year-old is vying for the trophy for Female Artist, Female Country Artist, Country Single ('Mean'), Country Love Song ('Mine'), Best Break-Up Song ('Back to December') and Red Carpet Fashion Icon: Female.

Miranda Lambert, Carrie Underwood, Kellie Pickler and Jennette McCurdy join Taylor in the Female Country Artist category. In the Male Country category, Jason Aldean, Keith Urban, Brad Paisley, Blake Shelton and Luke Bryan are all nominated, with Luke and Blake also battling it out in the Country Single category, for 'Country Girl (Shake It for Me)' and 'Honey Bee,' respectively. Other tunes named in that category include the Band Perry's 'If I Die Young' and Lady Antebellum's 'Just a Kiss.'

Lady Antebellum and the Band Perry are also named in the Country Group category, which they share with Little Big Town, Rascal Flatts and Steel Magnolia.

Adele, Lady Gaga, Rihanna and Katy Perry join Taylor in the Female Artist category, while Justin Bieber, Jason Derülo, Cee Lo Green, Enrique Iglesias and Bruno Mars are nominated the Male Artist category.

'The Twilight Saga: Eclipse' movie leads all Teen Choice Awards nominations with 12. Taylor and her buddy Selena Gomez tie for the most individual nods.
