Dolly Parton opened her new gift shop Trinkets and Treasures in Nashville last week. The colorful store is packed full of fun gifts and souvenirs from t-shirts and hats to jewelry and even baby cloths that read 'Burping Nine to Five.'

The enterprising superstar approves all of the items sold in the store herself, and she likely has a good eye, considering she's been collecting trinkets throughout the course of her career. Dolly admits she always tries to pick up something to add to her collection from every place she visits.

"I collect everything," Dolly tells The Boot. "I love salt shakers and that sort of thing. I'm one of those people who loves little jewelry boxes and little trinkets, I love little trinkets. They are treasures to me."

"I'll just see something I like," continues the iconic entertainer who has traveled the globe. "I'll always get something from whatever country I'm visiting, whether it's a candle, or a piece of crystal, or whatever. I get something like that in every country I go to, and usually every city I visit, too. I'll have either a t-shirt that says Los Angeles, or Scotland, or Ireland or England. But I'll always pick up something. I have a lot of trinkets and treasures myself."

She does at that: Dolly even recorded a 1996 album called 'Treasures.'
