Ryan Beaver has released a music video for his song "You Were the Rain." Readers can press play above to watch the sentimental track.

Using a solitary microphone on a washed out stage, Beaver steps forward in a suit and tie and performs the emotional song while a graceful aerial silk artist dances in the air behind him to the romantic lyrics: "But you fell out of the sky / By the grace of God, and only he knows why / You poured your love on me / And it took a while, but you set me free / Put out the flames / Baby, I was a wildfire, and you were the rain."

"For this video we wanted to come up with a cool concept that helped express the song in a great and simple way," Beaver says in a press release. "It’s been a blast bringing this song to life with Amazon Music."

Beaver released his album Rx just over a year ago, and he seems to have gotten the timing right as fans and critics alike took notice of the emerging artist.

"You Were the Rain" originally appeared on the Amazon Music Original Playlist Love Me, created in conjunction with Love Me Not as a two-part Valentines Day release.
