Taylor Swift is an opening act no more. The country teen sensation is gearing up for her first headlining tour, and she promises to be hands-on in the creative process, making her show a unique experience for fans.

"I'm focused on portraying a really visually different show," Swift tells the Morning Call. "There will be major costume changes. If you want to listen to my songs, you can listen to your iPod. If you want to go to a show, you want to see something different."

Going out on her own for the first time means months of planning, and Swift doesn't leave that up to other people. She takes a very active role in each and every decision made about her career.

""I don't like anything to go out the door without me approving it first, which really takes a toll on you, because you are making 500 thousand decisions a day, but that is the position that I want to be in," she tells Billboard. "I don't want there to be a mistake made and I had nothing to do with the planning of that idea."

Part of Swift's headlining tour includes a trip to Australia in March, with shows planned in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney.
