Taylor Swift has been named the American Music Awards Artist of the Decade for the 2010s. Per Billboard, the superstar singer will celebrate the honor with a performance of some of her biggest hits from the past 10 years at the 2019 American Music Awards on Nov. 24. “Taylor’s impact on music this decade is undeniable, and her performances on the American Music Awards have been truly spectacular,” says Dick Clark Productions Executive Vice President of Programming and Development Mark Bracco. “We’re thrilled to honor her as our Artist of the Decade and can’t wait for her to blow everyone away with an epic, career-spanning performance unlike any other!”
Miranda Lambert is auctioning off some of her clothing to benefit pups in need. Per a press release, Lambert's eBay charity auction, which kicked off on Thursday (Oct. 31), includes more than 425 pieces of "street-worn and stage-worn clothing, footwear, jewelry and accessories" from the country star's closet, and proceeds will benefit Lambert's MuttNation Foundation, which promotes the adoption of shelter pets. The first auction is live now, and set to run through Nov. 10; a second auction will run Nov. 10-17.
Luke Combs has announced a new collaboration with cult favorite shoe brand Crocs. The singer revealed his plans to drop a new pair of Crocs in a recent tweet, and while there's no word yet on what the shoes will look like, they'll be available on the brand's website on Nov. 14. This team-up is Combs's second collaboration with the brand, following the Combs-designed shoes that were for sale at CMA Fest 2019.
Congratulations are in order for country artist and songwriter Jacob Davis, whose family welcomed a new bundle of joy into the world on Tuesday (Oct. 29). Davis announced the arrival of Piper Jane Davis via Instagram: "Don’t know if it’s possible to love these girls more than I do," he writes. "Also, my wife is an absolute CHAMP." Baby Piper joins big sisters Percy, born on Christmas Eve in 2015, and Lane Elizabeth, born in September of 2017.
A deluxe version of Montgomery Gentry's Outskirts EP is now available. According to a press release, Outskirts Deluxe includes all of the EP's seven original tracks, along with four "rare" recordings from the duo, including a version of Ronnie Milsap's "Shakey Ground." The album is now available, via Average Joes Entertainment, at all digital retailers.
