When '80s rock band REO Speedwagon performed at Nashville's Sommet Center last month, they surprised the audience with a few local celebrity guests. Earlier that afternoon, Martina McBride was on that same stage rehearsing for her Shine All Night tour with Trace Adkins, so she had a chance meeting with the band.

"They actually came over and listened to some of my rehearsal, which was pretty amazing," Martina tells GAC. "I got to meet the guys from the band."

The guys asked Martina to join them at their concert that night, and she happily accepted. Both she and Brad Paisley joined the REO Speedwagon onstage to sing 'Roll With the Changes' to the packed house.

"When I was in high school, they were the soundtrack of my life -- driving around with my best friend listening to REO Speedwagon," she beams. "Never in a million years do you dream that you are maybe going to be on stage and sing with them some day. I felt like I was 16-years-old again!"

That night was such a special occasion that Martina decided to dig out some of her vintage '80s garb.

"I still have a few of my concert t-shirts," she says. "I have my Ozzy Osbourne t-shirt, Heart t-shirt and Night Ranger. I pulled it out [that night], but I don't very often because [it's special]."

Martina and Trace's Shine All Night tour continues this week with stops in Martina's home state, Kansas, as well as in Oklahoma.
